Original YouTube description
I bought this broken TP-Link security camera for about $1 to learn how it is built.
In this video I open the camera, examine its mechanical structure, and identify some of the main components, including:
• Camera module • Pan/tilt stepper motor • Speaker • Microphone • PCB • UART/TTL serial interface • Screws and internal frame
The camera is probably beyond repair, but understanding the hardware is still valuable. Every teardown helps me learn more about embedded Linux devices, electronics, and product design.
This is part of my journey exploring embedded systems, repairing electronics, and reverse engineering real hardware.
