Vertical Book

This route records an earlier experiment in traditional vertical Chinese page layout and PDF rendering. The historical audit describes a Racket layout language and A4 output, but that original source and its rendered file have not been recovered for this page.

A later, separate [Chinese Book Lab](https://mayphus.org/chinese-book-lab/) develops the same bookmaking direction with independently typeset print and phone-shaped editions, source attribution, and export checks. Its recorded September 18, 2026 Honglou release included complete print and mobile PDFs with 120 chapter bookmarks and validation manifests. Those release files were not visually re-inspected here and are not public downloads from this page. The later implementation does not prove the earlier Racket layout language was migrated unchanged.
