Biology diagram source study

This drawing study uses Racket to produce a labelled cell diagram and a DNA strip as SVG. The original generators and three saved SVG outputs were located and inspected during the 7 October 2026 archive review.

The cell generator constructs its drawing from paths, ellipses and circles, then places callout boxes with leader lines. Its tests check that the SVG contains the title and selected labels and that the placed callout boxes do not overlap. The DNA generator normalizes letter case, rejects unsupported letters, pairs bases and optionally adds codon labels. Its example tests check normalization, complementary letters, rejection of an invalid input and the presence or omission of codon labels.

Both generators' test suites passed in the recovery environment. These checks cover the implementation and layout assertions; they do not independently validate the biological illustration or establish a live public tool. The preserved SVG files are not offered as downloads on this page.
