# Being a Dad

I want to share another part of my life here: caring for my daughter as a dad, and some of my ideas about it. This page makes room for that part of life alongside the investigations and things I build.

One small everyday example already on this site is the [electronic learning-book repair](/electronic-learning-book-repair/). The book had stopped working. The repair involved opening the case, inspecting the visible electronics, cleaning the battery area and replacing the batteries. Afterward, it worked again.

As this page grows, the approach will be to start with specific moments: what happened, what was tried, and what remains a question. There is room to add those reflections as I choose to share them.
